Kelsey Vandyke, MS, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Kelsey earned her Bachelor of Science in Pyschology with an Exercise Sports Science minor (2014), from Mary Hardin-Baylor University. Then she went to complete her Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy degree (2016) from Abilene Christian University. Kelsey enjoys treating children of all ages. Kelsey has a special place in her heart for helping children overcome the challenges of dyslexia; due to her own journey of overcoming and learning to read, write and learn in the face of these obstacles. Kelsey seeks to provide joyful, practical, and family-centered treatment. She is excited to let you know that she also provides pool therapy as well! Kelsey has many interests and she has passionately sought out further training and education. Kelsey has training in the area of ocular-motor skill development. She helps children learn functional reading patterns (left to right). Kelsey further develops ocular saccade ability, (which is needed for reading), as well as ocular convergence training, (needed for attending to near tasks). Finally, Kelsey specializes in feeding therapy. She has furthered her education in this area by attending the S.O.S. (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach to Feeding, as well as the Beckman Oral Motor Course. Kelsey seeks to bring families together; by providing positive, and holistic occupational therapy treatment. In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family. She loves to camp, garden and read!
Kelsey Bonavida, MS, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Kelsey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies (2012) from South Dakota State University. She then went on to complete her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy degree (2014) from the University of South Dakota. She has spent her career working in outpatient pediatrics treating children with sensory processing disorder, Autism, Cebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and many other diagnoses. She specializes in feeding therapy and has completed multiple training sessions to further her education in this area (Sequential Oral Sensory - SOS, Beckman's Oral Motor, and Feeding and Swallowing Disorders In Infancy). Kelsey has also completed continuing education in MNRI Reflex Integration treatment and NDT treatment for babies. Kelsey is originally from Spearfish and enjoys spending her free time with her faimly outdoors doing various activities: camping, mountain biking, and skiing.
Hannah Benefield, OTA
Occupational Therapist Assistant
Hannah received her Associate Degree of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistance in 2020 from Arkansas Tech University in Ozark, Arkansas. She has experience working with adults and children in the home health, hospital, and clinical settings. She enjoys working on sensory integration, social interaction, funcational activities, and a variety of other skills/tasks. She also values building relationships with her clients and their families. In her free time, Hannah enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, and going on new adventures.
Dante Carter, PTA
Physical Therapy Assistant
Danye is a 2020 graduate of the Laramie County Community College PTA program. Danye has physical therapy experience working with children and adults of all ages in hospital, outpatient, home health, and private settings as well as being a clinical instructor for several students. She is a dance convention assistant for Manhattan Dance Project and has worked for them across the United States as well as in Napoli, Italy. Growing up in South Dakota, Danye concentrated on dance and attended Kaatsbaan Extreme Ballet in Tivoli NY for four summers, Ballet Arizona on a full merit scholarship and Kirov Academy of Dance in Washington DC. She holds 19 dance titles in the Mountain West as well as the 2017 Spotlight National Triple Crown.
She is the owner, coach, and choreographer for Independent Dancers Anonymous and has choreographed for the dance teams of Lead-Deadwood, Belle Fourche and Sturgis as well as productions through the Homestake Opera House.
She organized and taught year-long dance classes for underserved youth in the Black Hills area through the Lead SD branch of the Boys and Girls Club. She has training for dance specific physical therapy to combine her two passions in life.

Bonnie Kohl, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Bonnie received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in May of 2012 and her Doctrate of Physical Therapy in May of 2014 from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York. She was born and raised in Syracuse, New York and moved to Rapid City in August of 2014. She has worked in a variety of settings including Pine Ridge Reservation school district, skilled nursing facilities in town as a therapist and a director of rehab, outpatient rehabilitation, and pediatrics. She enjoys working with people of all ages and with a variety of goals but mostly focuses on the pediatric and neurological populations. In her free time she loves to be outdoors walking, hiking, and exploring with her husband, two girls, and their dog.
Jordan Scott, PTA
Physical Therapy Assistant
Jordan has been a therapist for five years and has experience in every setting including skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient. She loves physical therapy and always seeks new information to help her clients.
Jordan is a Level I Pediatric and Adult Pelvic Health Specialist. She is extremely passionate about treating clients with pelvic health issues. Jordan is trained to use biofeedback to serve her pelvic health clients best.
Jordan has also attained a wound care and SI joint dysfunction certification.
In her free time, Jordan loves being outside and playing with her two boys Raylan and Jaxon. You can also find her hunting and getting ready for hunting season with her wonderful husband, Zach. They just moved to South Dakota from Colorado where they grew up together since elementary school.
Lindsey Merrick, SLPA
Speech Therapy Assistant
Lindsey completed her bachelor's degree in early childhood education at South East TechnicalCollege in 2020. After gaining experience in the field, she pursued further education as aSpeech Language Pathology Assistant at Mitchell Technical College, graduating in 2023.Lindsey has worked with students across various ages and abilities. In her spare time, she loves teaching and taking dance classes, and enjoys quality moments with her husband, Stephen,and their dog, Honey.
Madison Craven, PTA
Physical Therapy Assistant
Madison was born and raised in Jamestown, North Dakota. She received her Associates of
Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assisting in 2021 from Lake Area Technical College in
Watertown, South Dakota. She has worked with orthopedic injuries, patients with balance and
coordination deficits, and post-surgical patients in an outpatient clinic setting as well as home
health. She enjoys working with people of all ages, incorporating fun into exercises, bonding
with her patients, and providing the best care possible. When Madison is not working she likes
to spend time with her husband Matt and their dog Winnie, working out, shopping, and
spending time with her friends and family.
